Dance Mandala is a movement meditation practice that uses dance, breath, and meditation to stretch the body, calm the mind, and deepen self-awareness. No dance skills needed! No dance steps to follow! This is a free-form movement practice and you are encouraged to listen to your body and move as you like. 


Wear comfortable yoga clothing and bring layers and water. We'll be dancing barefoot.




Shaden Dowiatt

One of Shaden Dowiatt's greatest joys in life is dancing and she has spent the last few years on a journey of deepening her movement meditation dance practice. In the summer of 2022, Shaden, a regular Past Tense student, completed an intensive DANCEmandala facilitation training in Chiang Mai, Thailand and is excited to share this special practice with the Mt. Pleasant community.
