Eating Disorders are among the deadliest mental illnesses in America. While much is misunderstood about eating disorders, they are all signs of suffering. Yoga offers many practices and philosophies that address the very nature of suffering.
This series is designed to support anyone who is on the journey of eating disorder recovery. It will include self check-ins at the beginning of class, a brief group check-in, gentle asana practices, breathwork, and guided meditations. We will explore the Koshas and how this five-layer model of Self can support recovery. All practices are offered with trauma sensitivity in mind and a focus on self-compassion.
This series is led by Sarah Park, a seasoned yoga practitioner, teacher (E-RYT200, RYT500), and a person in recovery from her own eating disorder.
Pricing: This series costs $120 for all six sessions.
