Yoga for the Trans+ Community

This free Vinyasa Flow class is designed to build a deep, empowering connection with our bodies. There will be body positive and gender neutral cuing, modifications for all ability levels, and an all-trans playlist to set the mood. This class is for anyone who identifies as trans, nonbinary, genderqueer, or anyone else under the trans+ umbrella—you’re also welcome to come if you’re questioning your gender identity and would find a space like this affirming. Come for the yoga, stay for the community!

Dance Mandala (June)

Dance Mandala is a movement meditation practice for anyone who is inspired by dance as a way to calm the mind, stretch the body, and deepen self-awareness. Through dance, breath, and meditation, we cultivate peace, creativity, and spaciousness so we can reconnect with being in our bodies and inner bliss. 


Wear comfortable clothing yoga clothes and bring layers and water. We'll be dancing barefoot.

Happy Hips

Dates: Saturday, June 24, 2023

In this workshop with Rachel, we'll learn about the six functions of the hip joint and how to make our hips happier through mobility, stability, and strength practices. Come prepared to play and explore:

The mechanics of hip flexion and extension, internal and external rotation, and adduction and abduction.
— Awareness of how our own hips are structured and how to practice in a way that supports our bodies rather than trying to change them.
— How happy hips aid our yoga practice, life practice and a healthy spine. 

This workshop is appropriate for all levels.

Price: $50; $40 for members. Early bird of $40 available through June 21st.

Past Tense 200-Hour Teacher Training (2023-2024)

Dates: 10/6/2023 to 2/4/2024

The Past Tense 200-Hr Teacher Training, led by Amy Rizzotto (ERYT-500) and Ellie Conrad (ERYT-400 and LMT) will guide participants to find their unique voice as a Yoga instructor while cultivating a deeply thoughtful relationship with Yoga in its many forms. Together, and with the support of the Past Tense teacher training team, we will explore anatomy through the lens of asana, functional movement and mobility, pranayama and the bandhas, meditation, and Yoga philosophy in relation to social justice.
