$45.00 Asana Clinic - Shoulders

In each Asana Clinic we explore specific muscles, movements, or postural types to deepen your understanding of your individual body and physical practice. In this Asana Clinic, we're focusing on one of the most requested muscle groups: The Shoulders.

The Shoulders are arguably one of the most complicated areas of the body and most prone to destabilization and injury in a Yoga practice. Because muscular discomfort can arise as referral pain from other parts of the body, it is sometimes difficult to determine which areas of the shoulder area need strengthening and which need more space. In this workshop with Ellie Conrad, discover a series of unique strengthening moves and yoga stretches to help you build strength, loosen tight muscles, and "open" the shoulders. We will use blocks, resistance bands, straps and the wall to isolate specific joint movements throughout the structure of a Vinyasa class.

This workshop is suitable for all levels, but a basic understanding of Sun and Moon Salutations will be helpful. NO prior inversion or arm balancing experience necessary.

Pricing: We will be offering a monthly Asana Clinic throughout the year. Our Asana Clinic - 4 Pack includes four workshops with the heading Asana Clinic over the course of a year for $100. If you've purchased it for a previous Asana Clinic, please email us to register you for future ones.

Health & Safety Guidelines: The health and wellbeing of our entire community are our most important priorities. For all in-studio events, we have instituted several COVID-19 health and safety policies, including proof of vaccination for all eligible students, as well as universal masking requirements. Please email us a photo of your vaccination card.
