In each Asana Clinic we explore specific muscles, movements, or postural types to deepen your understanding of your individual body and physical practice. In this Asana Clinic, we're highlighting the important role that props can play in strengthening your practice.

In this workshop with Sasa Tang, you will find new ways to deepen your practice, get creative with props, and understand how to better support and engage your body in the traditional postures of yoga. We will start the class with a vinyasa flow, then slowly introduce different props (blocks, foam rollers, bolster, straps, and wall) into the sequence to learn creative ways to use the props to your advantage. By the end of this workshop you will know how to advance, modify, and adjust any yoga class you attend with props to best suit your body on that day. This workshop is suitable for all levels.

Pricing:We will be offering a monthly Asana Clinic throughout the year. Our Asana Clinic - 4 Pack includes four workshops with the heading Asana Clinic over the course of a year for $100. If you've purchased it for a previous Asana Clinic, please email us to register you for future ones.

Sasa Tang

Sasa took her first yoga class in Morocco during her Peace Corps service when she invited a lost traveling yoga instructor to her village. She loved how yoga could be playful and at the same time provide a calm groundedness. Since completing her 200-hour teacher training in 2020, Sasa teaches from a lens of self-exploration and hopes to create for everyone that comes to her class a sense of home in their own bodies.
