Breathe Better

Breathe. We do it roughly 25,000 times a day and how we do it affects us at a cellular level, impacting our mental, emotional, and physical health. A stuffy nose, seasonal allergies, and stress can all make it harder to do. In this workshop with Kelly, we'll learn the basics of how we breathe, how breathing impacts our health, and how we can breathe better. We'll explore some de-stuffing techniques and then roll and move through a gentle flow to help us breathe better.
What to expect:
-A quick look at the physiology of how we breathe, including the muscles involved
-A look at how breathing impacts various aspects of our health including focus, mood, sleep, and athletic performance
-Techniques for how to harness and regulate the flow of breath for different effects
-Yoga postures, stretches, and fascia release techniques to help us breathe better
This workshop is for anyone who wants to breathe better, whether it's to ease allergy symptoms, improve sleep, boost athletic performance, or deepen meditation. Please bring a yoga mat, Yoga Tune Up balls or two tennis balls in a knee-high/tube sock, a pen and notepad, and lots of questions.

Discover seasonal wellness strategies from Ayurveda, an ancient healing tradition from India rooted in nature's rhythms, with Nichole. We'll move, breathe, sit for a guided meditation, and enjoy a discussion around self-care practices to stay balanced, healthy, and vibrant this spring.
Pricing: This is an extended, specialized class—offered outside of our regular workshops and not included in memberships or class packages. Priced at $27; $25 for members (discounted from our standard workshop rate)
