Yoga is not only a physical practice, but also a pathway for cultivating steadiness and clarity so we can live our lives fully and passionately.
The yoga sutras, one of the foundational philosophical texts of our practice, invite us to focus our minds and reconnect with our true nature. And they offer us techniques to build resilience, strength, and a sense of stability so we’re better equipped to handle life’s challenges.
In this online gathering with Kelly, we’ll explore the role of the other practices in yoga, including breathing, mindful relaxation, and concentration and learn practical real-life strategies for navigating life’s complexities with greater ease and clarity.
Price: $80; $60 Members and Early Bird (through Jan. 27).
Optional add-on Living the Sutras: A Guide to Yoga Wisdom Beyond the Mat available online or in the studio; members receive 10% off retail at the studio. Both Living the Sutras and the accompanying card deck Live Your Yoga are also available at Shambhala. Use code SUTRAS35 for 35% off; good through 3/31/25.

Love in the Time of Chaos
Dates: 2/15/2025 to 2/15/2025
This special 90-minute class is an invitation to push pause on the external chaos, reconnect with our inner capacity for peace, and remember the power of love—both for ourselves and our wider community.
The heart of this practice with Nichole will focus on slow, mindful movement that helps us feel safe and grounded in our bodies. We’ll use self-massage and postures to release tension held in the jaw, shoulders, and hips. Throughout, we’ll work with the breath as an anchor, learning specific pranayama techniques that can help regulate the nervous system and activate our natural relaxation response. We’ll close with an extended, supported Savasna to integrate the practice and leave feeling restored, resourced, and reconnected to our inner resilience. Consider it all a great, big, warm yoga hug.
This workshop is our love note to you, our beloved community, and included in your pass or membership. Please bring your TuneUp balls or two tennis balls in a tube sock.
