Align + Flow

Schedule

Level: Recommended for those with some yoga experience and a solid understanding of the basic poses and transitional movements of a flow class.

Class Description: This class offers a breakdown of postures and a deep dive into the component parts of peak poses. We will explore other movement modalities woven into a Vinyasa sequence. Students should expect a prop heavy class (please bring your Tune-Up balls), longer holds in postures, and a strong emphasis on alignment and anatomy. 


Baby + Me Yoga

Schedule

Level: Open to all levels, but doctor's approval is highly recommended for postpartum students

Class Description: While the structure of the class for parents and their little ones largely depends on the parents that show up (acknowledging unique birth experiences and recovery journeys), it includes some baby massage time, group sharing, and strengthening and stretching exercises. Babies are welcome as early as parents and doctors feel comfortable and take class until they are pre-crawlers.


Beginner Fit + Flow

Schedule

Level: Open to all levels.

Class Description: This dynamic and playful full-body workout offers a slower, low-impact approach to our MindBody Fitness class. Students can expect detailed instruction on technique with the same opportunity to build inner and outer strength.


Coping with Cancer: Yoga and Conversation

Schedule

In this monthly class designed for young people affected by cancer, we’ll move through a gentle vinyasa flow appropriate for all levels. Then all students are invited to a nearby cafe for conversation and community.


Fire + Grace: A Thanksgiving Flow

Schedule

Fire up your heart and belly with this energetic flow class focused on grace and gratitude. FiIll your cup with community, practice, and a long, yummy guided Savasana. 


Fit + Flow

Schedule

Level: Open to those with some fitness experience.

Class Description: This dynamic and playful full-body workout blends a variety of movement approaches including strength training, cardio, dance, Pilates, yoga, and mindfulness. Students should expect to use resistance bands, core sliders, blocks, their own body weight, and other props. We’ll release stress, build strength, and stretch body and mind, leaving you feeling balanced, resilient, and empowered.

Free Outdoor Vinyasa Flow

Class Description: This class, sponsored by District Bridges, offers a flowing, dynamic form of yoga that connects breath and movement in Lamont Plaza. 


Friends + Family Flow

Schedule

Some things just go together naturally – Cat and Cow, thanks and giving, you and yours. So invite a friend to join you (on us) for this livestream Vinyasa Flow class. You can practice together even if you can't be together this holiday. After you register, please email us your friend's full name and email and we will register them as well.


Fundraiser Flow

Join Nichole Ferrigno for an Outdoor Flow 1/2 in support of an Afghan family who recently arrived in DC after fleeing Kabul. A group of Mt. Pleasant families is assisting this single mom and her two teenage daughters build a financial base to cover rent and living expenses until her paperwork is processed and she can legally work here. Suggested donation is $25 via GoFundMe. All funds go directly to the family. This is a BYO Mat and Props event. 


Happy Hour

Class Description: Start the weekend off with a playful, dynamic vinyasa flow set to fun music. Students should expect an energetic and playful class with lots of variations so you can shake off the week. We'll end with a deeply relaxing Savasana, leaving you ready to embrace the weekend.

Kiddo + Me Yoga

Kiddo + Me Yoga is an opportunity to enjoy yoga with your five- to ten-year-old. Join us for movement, breathwork, and mindfulness.

Please note: Our regular class passes and memberships do not apply to this class. Our Kiddo + Me Yoga pass covers you and your child.


Prenatal Yoga

Level: Open to all levels, but an introduction to postures and your provider's approval is recommended

Class Description: This class supports the pregnant person through all three trimesters and the postpartum period. Students can expect community building through group sharing, movement appropriate for a pregnant or postnatal body, and rest or guided relaxation.


Roll + Flow

Schedule

Level: Recommended for those with some yoga experience and a basic understanding of postures.

Class Description: This class uses self-massage with balls and foam rollers to activate muscles and Vinyasa Flow to help you strengthen, stretch, and repair the body. In this class we focus on strengthening muscles, improving range of motion, and down-shifting the nervous system. Please bring your own massage balls (available for purchase in studio) or two tennis balls. 


Share the Love Vinyasa Flow

As part of our mission to lead with heart and foster community and connection, please join us for a donation-based vinyasa flow class to support one of our students who recently lost her partner.

Emily Wax lost her husband, Ray, to Kidney Cancer. Friends have started this Go Fund Me to raise money for their children. Please make a donation here in lieu of payment for this class.

Sound Bath + Yoga Nidra

Level: Open to all levels.

Class Description: This monthly class blends Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep with sound-based meditation. Enjoy a deep relaxation and the vibration and tones from singing bowls, gongs, and chimes.


Sound Bath Meditation

Schedule

Level: Open to all levels

This class uses the vibration and tones from Tibetan singing bowls and an ocean drum (similar to a rain stick) to move students into a deeper state of consciousness and awareness. Students can expect to lie down and rest in stillness. There is no movement involved in this class and students are welcome in comfortable street clothes.


Sound Soother

Schedule

Level: Open to all levels.

Class Description: This class blends a series of long-held, passive floor poses to stretch the connective tissue with sound-based meditation. Students can expect to use a lot of props to help them hold the posture, enabling their bodies to slowly release, while enjoying the vibration and tones from singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and harmonium, to move into a deeper state of meditation. 


Toddler + Me Yoga

Schedule

Toddler yoga is an opportunity for you and your little one to move, breath, play, and relax together! Bring your crawler or toddler and join us for music and stories as well as simple tips for incorporating mindfulness into regular playtime at home.

Please note: Our regular class passes and memberships do not apply to this class. Our Toddler Yoga pass covers you and your little one. 


Vinyasa Flow

Class Description: This class offers a flowing, dynamic form of yoga that connects breath and movement. Students should expect a faster pace, more challenging poses, techniques to modify them, and an introduction to practices like pranayama, meditation, and philosophy.


Vinyasa Flow + Restore

Schedule

This class combines the movement and flow of vinyasa with the deep relaxation of restorative yoga. We’ll begin with a dynamic flow, connecting breath with movement to warm up our muscles, move tension through the body, and prepare body and mind for rest. Then, we’ll slow down and relax in deep, therapeutic stretches that rejuvenate the body, restore our nervous system, and allow us to reconnect with ourselves.

This class is recommended for those with some yoga experience and a solid understanding of the basic poses and transitional movements of a vinyasa flow class. 


Women's Circle

Schedule

This monthly gathering for those venturing into perimenopause and menopause is an opportunity to connect and support one another in a safe, confidential space. You are invited, but not required, to share how we are caring for our minds and bodies during this time. 


Women’s circles are an ancient tradition found in many cultures and are all about creating and holding space for each other’s joys and challenges. 


This is not a movement-based class, but please bring or wear what you need to comfortably sit on the floor. LGBTQIA+ Affirming. 



YAY: Young Adult Yoga

Schedule

Level: Recommended for those with little yoga background who are of middle- or high-school age. No experience or flexibility required.

Class Description: This class focuses on the most common postures and transitions with attention to alignment, how to link breath with movement, and some basic meditation and mindfulness skills to help manage stress and anxiety. Students can expect detailed verbal guidance, a slower pace, and demonstration.


Yoga for Better Sleep

Schedule

This class incorporates gentle movement, breathwork, self-care practices, and meditation aimed at helping you sleep more soundly. Feel free to join us in your PJs.

This class is recommended for those with some yoga experience. We recommend having blocks, straps, and a pillow nearby.

 


YogArt

Schedule

In this fun class for kids 5 and up, children can express their creativity though art and movement. Kiddos will breathe, move, and create a unique art project each time. 


Baby + Me Fitness

Schedule

Level: Open to all levels, but doctor's approval is highly recommended for postpartum students

Class Description: This dynamic and playful full-body workout is a postpartum appropriate approach to our MindBody Fitness class. Warm Vinyasa Flow

Class Description: This class offers a flowing, dynamic form of yoga in a warmer room (this is not HOT yoga). Students should expect a faster pace, more challenging poses, techniques to modify them, and an introduction to practices like pranayama, meditation, and philosophy.


Roll + Restore

Level: Open to all levels

Class Description: This class blends self-massage with gentle movement. Students can expect to use massage balls, foam rollers, and yoga postures to relieve tight muscles, increase flexibility, ease pain, and calm the nervous system. Level: Open to all levels

Class Description: This class focuses on postures that increase flexibility, mobility, balance, and overall strength. Students can expect a ton of modifications, props, and variations to support their unique needs. This class is appropriate for beginners, seniors, students looking to ease back into yoga, those recovering from an illness or injury, or students looking for a slower paced, ease-ful class.


Beginner Vinyasa Flow

Level: Recommended for those with little yoga background and students interested in refining their alignment. No experience or flexibility required.

Class Description: This class focuses on the most common postures and transitions with attention to alignment, the muscular engagement needed, and breath awareness. Students can expect detailed verbal guidance, a slower pace, and demonstration.


Outdoor Kids Yoga + Halloween Party

Schedule

We invite kids to join us on Lamont Plaza in costume for a little hocus pocus Halloween Yoga fun. After showing off their costumes, Dayna will lead the kids through some Halloween-inspired yoga poses, a Monster Mash freeze dance, games, storytelling, and treats. This is a BYO Mask and Mat affair. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. 



Gentle Flow + Meditation

Schedule

Level: Open to all levels, but a basic understanding of the poses is helpful

Class Description: This class includes gentle movement, breathwork, and meditation. Students can expect a slower paced flow, guided meditation, and a relaxing Savasana to help you unwind and return to an ease-ful state.


Advanced Vinyasa Flow

Schedule

Level: Those with an established practice. This class is recommended for students with at least 12 months of consistent practice. Students should have the self-awareness to modify as needed. 

Description: These classes explore the more subtle and complex aspects of yoga. Students can expect a faster pace, deeper variations, dynamic sequences, and the opportunity to experience the fullness of the practice through philosophy, pranayama, chanting, and more.
