Advance Your Yoga: Arm Balances (Apr 2024)

In this four-week series with Amy we'll learn how to approach a variety of arm balances with confidence, grace, and humor. Come prepared to play and to learn:
- the mechanics and leverage of arm balances
- the connection between core strength, bandhas, and arm balances
- tips and techniques you can build into your practice so you can get your feet off the ground with ease
This four-week session is recommended for those with a basic understanding of the postures and transitions but you do not need to be an advanced practitioner to come and play. This series will do as the title suggests- help you advance your practice!
Week 1: Bakasana (Crow) + variations
Week 2: Eka Hasta Bujasana, Bhujapidasana
Week 3: Tittibasana (Firefly), Eka Pada Bakasana (Flying Crow)
Week 4: Review, Play, Yogi's Choice
Pricing: This series costs $85 for the full four-week series; $70 for members and Early Birds (through April 2nd).

Ready for a night out? We're throwing a pajama party for your kids (5 and up). Drop them off at Past Tense at 5:00 p.m. with dinner in hand, and we'll eat, play games, watch a movie, and even do some yoga. Pick ‘em up at 8:00 – or they might turn into pumpkins.
Please register in your child's name. If you have any trouble doing so, please email us.
Pricing: $50; Early Bird of $40 available through Apr 20th.
Craft Therapy

Cultivate creativity and community in a relaxing environment. We’ll provide the art supplies. You play, make, and unwind.
What to expect:
- Make a reservation for one of three time slots: 12:00-1:00, 1:00-2:00, 2:00-3:00.
- Come in, take a seat, and a big inhale and exhale.
- Look through the materials at the table and see what inspires you.
- Create and chat.
- Clean up will start about 10 minutes before the end of the session. Please help by making your spot at the table look how you found it.
- Take your project with you! Anything left behind will be gifted.
- Stroll through Lamont Plaza and enjoy the Mt. Pleasant Artists Collective Sale.
Craft Therapy is a space for adults to relax, create, and talk.
Price: $25/for one hour session.
